Global Paint for Charity and the Solid Waste Division of Gwinnett would like to invite you to participate in our Earth Day 2015 Celebration at Coolray Field, Home of the Gwinnett Braves (2500 Buford Dr, Lawrenceville, GA 30043) on Saturday, April 18, 2015. We will celebrate our 4th Annual Mother Earth Day by hosting a free recycling event in Gwinnett County. This event will feature electronics recycling ($10 cash fee per TV), tires recycling (limit eight tires per vehicle; no dealer tires), and paint collection (no paint thinners, stains, spackle, oil paint cans, rusted paint cans, or dried-up paint). Please bring your gently used or old sneakers to be donated to those in need or recycled into surfaces for local playgrounds and running tracks. Bring the whole family out from 9am-12pm to honk and play around in every vehicle you can imagine, including fire trucks, dump trucks, motorcycles, school buses, face painting, balloon animals, and more. Parents and Kids of all ages can enjoy learning about Global Paint, Gwinnett County's solid waste programs and other recycling programs in our community.

All ages are welcome to attend this FREE event and we will give away free green wristband and the Atlanta Braves 2015 Regular Season Schedule to all participants (some recycling programs may require a collection fee so bring some cash or personal checks, and together let’s celebrate our beautiful planet!!

Paper shredding will not be provided at this event, however Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful provides free paper shredding Monday Through Friday. For more information, please visit http://www.gwinnettcb.org/.

Calling all volunteers!

Looking for some community service hours or volunteer to make a difference in the community? Well this is the place to be!! This is our 4th Annual Earth Day event in Gwinnett County. And it is always fun!! Volunteers will be assigned to serve from 8:00am to 12:00pm to help collect paint donations and 1:00pm to 4:00pm to help unload the truck at Global Paint Center.
