Golf for Good
Golf Tournament for Medical Foundation of ChattanoogaSep 15, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Much like the way we collaborate to assist patients, Volunteers in Medicine and Project Access are partnering together to fundraise for the common good.
With your support, lives are saved and changed. Patients have overcome debilitating illnesses and diseases allowing them to return to their productive lives, working and supporting their families.
Volunteers in Medicine, Chattanooga, Inc. is a full-service medical clinic which provides primary and preventative health care at no cost, to financially eligible individuals and families of Hamilton and surrounding counties in Tennessee and Georgia who otherwise have no access to public or private health insurance. Since 2005, VIM has provided over 75,000 patient visits valued at $25 million in clinic rates and $110 million at conservative ER rates: and $18 million in patient prescription assistance.
Over the past 18 years, more than 232,500 patients have received the gift of health through Southeast Tennessee Project Access while our physicians and partners have provided more than $220 million in donated health care services. Through this remarkable program, more than 1,150 Chattanooga physicians and community partners have created an exceptional voluntary health care network. Every Project Access partner provides their services absolutely free of charge to the patient.
Planning for the 2023 Golf for Good charity tournament is underway and it is going to be amazing event on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Brown Acres Golf Course with event chair Roger Davis.
