It is my pleasure to invite you to Florida’s first Annual Golf for Joy "Bringing Hope and Joy to the Sunshine State”! The event will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at the Eagle Creek Golf Club located minutes from Orlando International Airport. This event is being organized to honor Maxwell Jones of St. Cloud.

Maxwell was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2018 at the age of 19. He received treatment in Orlando, Florida close to his hometown, St. Cloud. Following his treatment, Nik’s Wish allowed Maxwell and his family to travel to Hawaii where he could enjoy his favorite pastime, golfing. He played a round at Ala Wai golf course in Honolulu and was joined by Mark Rolfing, a commentator for The Golf Channel that max had previously met during a tour of the Golf Channel studio. Maxwell is forever grateful for the wonderful experience Nik’s Wish gave him.

The funds raised from this event are for the mission of Nik's Wish, a nonprofit organization that brings joy to young adults (18-24) fighting cancer. These young adults should be starting out on their life’s adventures, attending university, learning a trade, moving into their own place, but instead they are fighting for their lives. Nik's Wish strives to provide JOY, HOPE and lasting memories to young adults and their loved ones battling cancer.
