Our Golf to END EPILEPSY tournament to END EPILEPSY will be on Monday, August 26, 2022 at the Club at Sonterra in San Antonio, TX!  Your support of this tournament helps provide funding for medical services, epilepsy-management programs, scholarships, and so much more.  This tournament sells out quickly and will have over 200 participants - golfers and non-golfers a like all in support of our mission.  

Our Mission - To lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.

Life can be very challenging for those affected by epilepsy. Epilepsy is the #1 neurological condition affecting the pediatric population. A staggering 41% of children with epilepsy live in poverty. Shockingly, 53% of adults with uncontrolled epilepsy have annual incomes of less than $25,000. These startling statistics demonstrate the dire need to support this very disenfranchised population.  In addition to experiencing unpredictable seizures and side effects from medications, people with epilepsy commonly experience isolation, lack of social interaction, and the fear and uncertainty of living with a potentially life-threatening disease. Your generosity helps us provide essential services to help people with epilepsy live productive lives and provide meaningful support to their families and caregivers.

 The epilepsy journey isn’t a clear and easy path. We are receiving increased requests for information and services and hearing more stories about how people with epilepsy and their families feel alone. The Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas is the place to get advice, learn about new resources, and be energized to face new challenges, with the knowledge that a community is here to support them. Every day we make life better for someone in need.
