Description

Valor Christian Academy will be hosting a Golf Tounrment and Auction to raise funds for student scholarships, educational experiences, and STEM learning engagement for about 300 culturally diverse students. Students who attend Valor are economically diverse with over 25% identifying as low-income families and 30% of students being awarded scholarship opportunites to receive a high quality education. A high quality education helps address educational learning gaps, reduce poverty rates, enhances literacy development, reduces educationaldiscrimination that minoritized groups often encounter and helps create econominc stability and educational equity.

Valor is contributing to the landscape of a just world by enabling students to gain upward socioeconomic mobility which is a key to escaping poverty. Education helps reduce inequalities and reach gender equality and is crucial to fostering tolerance and more peaceful societies. Beyond wage gains, the job market favors college graduates in other ways as well. Graduates are more likely to participate in the labor force, less likely to be unemployed, and more likely to have full-time jobs. Valor is implementing effective assessment tools, evaluation strategies, and developmental frameworks,  high-quality curriculum to  comprehensively evaluate progress and set achievable goals tailored to each unique child.

Our Mission at Valor Christian Academy is to provide each student with an uncompromising Christian education devoted to academic excellence in a family-friendly, safe, and nurturing environment.
Valor Christian Academy is the South Bay’s premier, independent, private school, providing a solid academic Christian foundation for preschool, elementary and middle school since 1977.

Valor Christian Academy offers preschool for infants through four year-olds and a rigorous, WASC accredited academic program in our elementary and middle school, serving students in transitional kindergarten through 8th grade. We maintain small class sizes, with one classroom per grade level, and provide a standards-based academic program to a diverse student body from a Christian worldview.
