Lazy J Rescue Ranch (LJRR) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue and sanctuary located just outside of Goldfield, IA. LJRR is dedicated to providing a forever home to all animals who have been abused, neglected, or forced to feel unloved. Goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, cats, a mini-cow, a llama, a guinea, and a dog all currently live at Lazy J Rescue Ranch. As a 501(c)(3), LJRR operates solely on donations and grants along with all volunteered time. Funds are utilized to provide specialized, nutritious diets for each animal, quality vet care, animal enrichment activities, safe shelter, rescue expenses, animal prosthetics (currently need chicken leg & mini-cow leg), and upcoming projects (improving barn roofs and siding to increase winter warmth, building additional stalls to allow space for future rescues, constructing a new chicken run for added protection, etc.). Our summer fundraisers provide a variety of opportunities to sponsor or support Lazy J Rescue Ranch. The 6/17/23 fundraiser is a golf tournament and silent auction expecting around 200 people. You will receive acknowledgment for your donation via signage recognition (if received by 6/1/23) and social media posts both before and after the event.
