On Sunday, October 27, 2024, Good Shepherd Shelter will host its annual gala, our most important fundraising event of the year. Proceeds from this event directly support all of the programs Good Shepherd Shelter provides to our resident families. This includes mental health therapy, case management, elementary school education, child watch services and adult learning skills classes. Your support will have a direct and meaningful impact on the trauma-informed holistic program we offer, which heals mothers and children by treating the whole individual. Our gala theme this year, Mending Broken Wings, focuses on individuals and groups who, through their philanthropy, volunteerism, and advocacy, continue to give our families the resources they need to heal from their trauma and to break the cycle of domestic violence in their families.

Our gala includes both a Silent Auction and a Live Auction. We are in need of donated merchandise, services, experiences, and gift certificates for both auctions. We would be honored if you would help our families by donating to our gala. Please find our donation form attached. The item you donate will be featured as a silent or live auction item at our gala and featured on our website and newsletter, which is seen by thousands of local individuals who support Good Shepherd Shelter.
