Description

All donations will be used in a silent auction hosted by GPFAA Vocal Music Guild at a fine arts public school Christmas concert on Monday, December 11. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit GPFAA Vocal Music Guild's Graduating Senior Scholarship Fund.

GPFAA “Family Christmas” is an annual collaborative holiday show featuring 6-12th grade Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy students in Vocal Music (Choir) and Jazz Band. The event includes a silent auction. Concert attendance is estimated to be 800—our audience is made up of families with small children all the way to grandparents and great-grandparents. Friends and alums attend too!

GPFAA Vocal Music is home to 110 middle and high school students and faculty. Students are highly trained for their age and learn sight-reading and various genres and styles of choral literature, including classical, opera, musical theatre, contemporary, and pop. The program's purpose is to develop and enhance vocal abilities and skills for students pursuing music and choral art as a vocation and avocation. GPFAA Vocal Music has a total of nine performing ensembles and, in a short time, has earned many national and regional awards, including a 2021 GRAMMY Museum Enterprise Award.

The GPFAA Vocal Music Guild is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of parents, family, and friends of current and former GPFAA Vocal Strand students whose mission is to build and sustain a distinguished and nationally recognized singing program. Your tax-deductible in-kind gift to support the GPFAA Vocal Music Guild will help us continue our important work.
