May 15, 2024 Grace will hold a Grace Fund Raising Event on our Columbia Campus (where 500-600 people work) from 9-2 pm.  The event will include a bake sale, a chili cook off, a corn hole tournament, a 2 day on line auction.  The money we raise will be matched by Grace and donated to No Kids Hungry.  Your business will be advertized across the Grace campus at Columbia and to the Curtis Bay campus in Baltimore Md.  No Kids Hungry a local non profit that helps feed children in our local area.  1 in 5 children in America lives with hunger.

We’re building a nation where food is available in every community;
wages and income allow families to thrive; and all children grow up
healthy and strong.
Our work today focuses on three areas:
SCHOOL & COMMUNITY MEALS
We help schools and community groups launch - and improve -
meals programs for kids, like breakfast served in the classroom or
free meals provided in the summertime. We provide grant funding
for needed equipment - from refrigerators to delivery trucks - and
encourage policymakers to expand these programs.
FAMILY MEALS
We help families feed their kids by protecting programs like SNAP
and WIC and increasing the number of children enrolled in them. We
advocate for stronger federal laws and benefits, and work with state
agencies to make enrolling easier and more dignified for families.
CAUSES OF HUNGER
We provide funding and support to organizations working on
the “root causes” of hunger – from low wages to the high cost of
healthy foods – to help families become more economically mobile
and secure.
