Great Aloha Run
Walk/Run for Carole Kai Charities, Inc. / Great Aloha RunFeb 19, 2024 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM

The Carole Kai Charities, Inc's sole mission is to organize and produce, through community participation, the Great Aloha Run. Proceeds from this event financially assist community programs and special projects of selected charitable organizations serving the community needs in the State of Hawaii.
Since its inception in 1984, the Carole Kai Charities, Inc. has been producing the Great Aloha Run, an 8.15-mile foot race that starts at historic Aloha Tower in Downtown Honolulu and ends at the Aloha Stadium in Halawa. To date, the event has raised more than $16 million that is awarded to over 150 non-profit health and human service organizations and community groups serving the needs of the people of Hawaii.
Always on the Presidents' Day Holiday in Februry, there is a place for everyone in the Great Aloha Run to be a part; from babies in strollers to grandmas in wheelchairs, from elite runners to our Military community running in the Sounds of Freeeom Division. You can even be a part of our over 4,000 volunteers on race weekend. It is this inclusive philosophy that reflects the Hawaiian name for this race, “Ke kukini me ke aloha pau‘ole”—the race with compassionate love.
100% of the net proceeds from the event is givine back to worthy charitiable organizations in Hawaii.
In 2024, the Great Aloha Run will be celebrating its 40th year of giving back to Hawaii non profits and worthy community organization who are in need of support.
