For 13 years, Great Oak School has been nurturing children’s heads, hearts, and hands and
instilling a joy for learning here in Tomball. Our small, Waldorf-inspired school has grown
from 3 kindergartners in 2009, to over 120 children from pre-school through 8th grade,
with alumni from three graduating classes. Our alumni are thriving in both public and
private high schools, and stand out among their peers as inquisitive learners that are eager
for any academic challenge presented to them. All of our graduates are in AP classes, or
are in advanced learning settings, and many are enjoying competitive sports, music, and/
or theatre. The success of our graduates truly speaks to our values of honoring childhood
while providing a rigorous, holistic education that strives to balance the intellectual with
the moral, spiritual, and artistic realms.

Today I am inviting you to partner with our school as a sponsor of our annual fundraising
gala, being held on February 11, 2023. Our theme this year is Casino Royale, and will
feature casino games, dinner, dancing, and silent and live auctions. Our school is a 501(c)3
non-profit, with our gala raising approximately 40% of our fundraising goal each year, and
this year’s goal is to raise $35,000 at the event. Your support is vital to the success of our
event; all sponsorships directly support our growing facility needs as our enrollment
continues to flourish, as well as academic programming and professional development.
We love being part of the thriving Tomball community, from participating in the many local
festivals, to finding unique gathering places for our families to hold meetings and events,
and my hope is that you will invest in our school so we may continue to grow in this vibrant
