Since 1917, the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce has existed to enhance, promote and support economic stability and growth in the communities it serves. The Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund is a separate 501(c)(3) organization that is overseen by the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee. Two different scholarships currently exist with the number of recipients varying each year. The first is awarded to a graduating high school senior from a public or private high school located in the greater Claremont, NH area. The second is awarded to an employee of a member or current member of the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce.

The Auction Gala serves as our premier fundraising event of the year, with historic attendance benchmarks of more than 125 local business owners, community leaders and officials from local and state governments honoring the guest list. The 2022 Gala is slated to be a dazzling evening highlighting the "Diamonds and Pearls" theme, presented by this year's Platinum Sponsor: Pearce Jewelers. The prominent event will be hosted on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Visitor Center Greene in Claremont, New Hampshire. With food and beverage catered by The Common Man Restaurant, and bar service available from Sweet Fire BBQ, the event will also offer networking, music, dancing and the main event: the showcase of exciting live and silent auctions and raffles.

While the Chamber is a 501(c)(6) organization for which the overall fundraising event is intended does not offer tax-deductible benefits, the Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund is a separate 501(c)(3) entity and will have its own separate silent auction table at the event for fundraising efforts directly benefitting the charitable fund. We will clearly mark and specify the table and items for the silent auction area where proceeds will be directed in full to the Scholarship Fund.
