This year Green Lake Elementary was on the list of schools set to close amidst the Seattle Public School budget crisis. The community banded together to stop this. Green Lake is the only school in North Seattle that has a medically fragile program for children with disabilities, an ADA playground (fully funded by the PTA) and a variety of other activities and services unique and essential to the community. We are delighted that SPS changed their mind, but we are in need of support now more than ever. The PTA's largest fundraiser of the year is the annual auction and we give the funds directly to the school to support the services described above. We kindly ask that you consider a donation to support our event.  

Your donations also help fund programs which have been significantly reduced throughout the school district. Classes like art and music, after school enrichment activities, swimming lessons for our 1st and 2nd graders, and so much more!
Our PTA raises money so that every student has the option to participate no matter their financial situation.
