The golf tournament is held is memory of a former member of the Lake Ozark Rotary chapter who passed to young in age.  Greg Gagnon was know through the Lake of the Ozarks area for being a member of a lot of community organizations.  When he had a few minutes of free time and weather permitting, he would love to play a round of golf.  A majority of the proceeds raised from the donations goes back to two area high schools for higher education scholarships to graduating seniors.
