The Garrison Mill Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the mission and educational goals of both Garrison Mill and the Cobb County School System.  Since 2009, thanks to the support of our families and the community, the Foundation has been able to pay for the salaries of two certified Science Lab Instructors, supplies for the science and technology lab, teacher grants/training and school capital improvements.

Each year our organization has a large fundraiser to ensure we continue to achieve our goal of STEAM excellence at Garrison Mill. Our fundraiser is a kindness campaign. Students are encouraged to ask for donations for our school while completing acts of kindness for others as a way of paying it forward. We set incentives for students to reach acts of kindness goals and fundraising goals, those students are then put into a drawing for the top prizes at our fundraiser celebration event, Greyhound Night. We are seeking donations to include in those drawings and would love to include donors would want to be part of our school community's efforts to spread kindness and enhance the educational experience of all students at Garrison Mill.
