The Dedham School of Music's mission is to culturally enrich the town of Dedham and surrounding communities by providing a supportive environment for musicians of all ages and abilities to perform, create, appreciate and learn to play music.

 
We serve approximately 300 students in the Boston area. Our students come from all economic and cultural backgrounds, and range in age from 6 months to over 70 years of age. Approximately 80% of our expenses each year go directly toward program services, with particular emphasis on disadvantaged youth.

 
Our annual fundraising gala features a live band, food and drink, and silent and live auctions. We expect between 150 and 200 guests this year, and hope to raise over $15,000. Revenue directly benefits our financial aid fund; we strive to grow the number of low income families we serve each year.
