Description

The Guajome Park Academy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID: 33-0962088) dedicated to supporting Guajome Park Academy, a public K–12 charter school located in Vista, California. Our mission is to provide essential resources and equitable opportunities that empower students to succeed—both in and out of the classroom.

We are excited to host our first-ever Community Mixer & Silent Auction on May 30, 2025, at The Vistonian in Vista. This event will bring together families, educators, local business owners, and civic leaders for an evening of celebration and impact, all in support of Guajome students. With a projected attendance of 100 guests, the silent auction will serve as the highlight of the event—featuring donated items, experiences, and gift packages to help us reach our $10,000 fundraising goal.

Guajome Park Academy serves over 1,300 students, more than 73% of whom qualify for free or reduced lunch. Over 72% of students come from historically marginalized backgrounds, with additional challenges including food insecurity, high chronic absenteeism (18.6%), and limited access to health and wellness resources. The school also serves a 13% Special Education population and a growing number of English Language Learners (10%).

In-kind donations to our silent auction directly support programs that address these needs, funding classroom materials, flexible seating, hygiene and clothing kits, educational field trips, and culturally inclusive books for our school library.

All donors will be publicly recognized through our website, social media, event signage, printed materials, and through the Guajome Business Network (https://www.guajome.net/fs/pages/1073). Your support helps create lasting impact for students who need it most.

Thank you for supporting student success and helping us build a stronger, more equitable community through education.
