The Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds to  purchase medical equipment for the Paediatric, Obstetric and Emergency Departments at our local hospitals in Guelph and Centre Wellington. 

In 2023 with the generosity of many individuals and businesses, The Guelph Firefighters Benevolent  Foundation was able to purchase a Stand-alone Infant Resuscitation System ($14,163) for Guelph  General Hospital and a Paediatric Positioning Device ($11,000) for Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus. We also teamed up with a local community member to purchase gifts for children and  seniors staying at the Guelph General Hospital over Christmas. 

Without the generosity and support of our community, we could not purchase these very important  pieces of medical equipment or carry out these acts of kindness. 

The Guelph Firefighters Benevolent Foundation hosts many events throughout the year. This year we are hoping to raise over $25,000. Our major event coming up in 2024 is The Guelph Firefighters Charity Ball on Saturday May 11, 2024. It is being held at The Grand Guelph Banquet & Event Centre. This is a social and dance event, with live music, silent auction prizes and a late night  snack. It is a night for people to dress up, have fun and support a worthy cause.
