Description

Guitar Strings and Kidney Things is a concert event celebrating the journey of Ken Angus donating his kidney to his son David in 1997.  The Angus family have used the success of their transplant to create a concert where monies raised will support the future of kidney care at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. At St. Joseph’s, or physicians and healthcare teams are Canadian leaders in treating, researching and caring for patients with kidney disease. With the growth our Kidney Program has seen, we need update the equipment that is part of our newly re-developed Charlton Dialysis Centre. Our centre provides lifesaving treatment to over 600 individuals per week, provides an optimal space for patient comfort and care, and excels because of our dedicated staff. We need the support of our community to continue this important work.
