Description
On Halloween 1997, I received a kidney transplant from my father, Ken. In 2016, I came up with the idea of a concert to give back. Guitar Strings and Kidney Things ™ was created and to date, with concert in 2017, 2019 and 2022, we have raised nearly $50,000 for kidney care in Hamilton, Ontario.
We partner with St. Joseph's Hea;thcare Foundation to bring awareness and support to the over 1800 people living with kidney disease, or kidney transplants, who are seen at St. Joseph's Hospital.
This year, my goal is to raise $15,000 overall with our online auction being a key part in those efforts.
