Description

We are excited to host our first ever Virtual Silent Auction fundraiser. It is scheduled to launch on September 1st, 2020 for a 6 week duration.

Prior to Aug 31, 2020 we would like to request in-kind donations or funds of any value to build the silent auction inventory. Donors will be acknowledged on our website, social media platforms and in our Annual Report. Additionally, we will issue a charitable tax receipt matching the value of each donation.

By adding value to our auction table, donors will increase the success of the event. Auction proceeds will support two continuous improvement initiatives at Corbrook.

  • In response to Covid-19, funds will assist Corbrook to purchase tools to make program delivery more accessible online by helping with the purchase of hardware and software essential for this training. In addition, given the challenges posed by reopening our centres in a post covid environment, funds will assist with re-opening measures such as the installation of control barriers and purchase of personal protective equipment.
  • Funds will also go towards the cost of outfitting our new location with a new Music room, furniture and equipment for our “hang out lounge” as well as other initiatives to enhance individuals learning experience including a lounge area Fitness program and revitalized Art program.
