Hadley Institute for the Blind and Visually Impaired will mark 100 years of serving people with vision loss in 2020. We will be celebrating this exciting occasion, and raising funds to support Hadley, with a gala celebration on April 4, 2020.

We anticipate selling out the 300-person venue for this festive and elegant event. The evening will include cocktails, dinner, dancing and a fundraising program, which will consist of a silent auction, live auction and paddle raise. The event is being held at The Dalcy, a beautiful space in Chicago's Fulton Market District. Attendees will largely be from the Chicago and suburban Chicago area--where Hadley is headquartered.

However, Hadley supports anyone with vision loss, anywhere. Hadley's unique distance education model allows us provide the resources and support needed to navigate life with visual impairment. And, Hadley's services are provided at no cost to anyone with vision loss and their families. 

Today, Hadley serves nearly 150,000 individuals each year, from all 50 states and in 100 countries. Hadley is also the largest educator of braille worldwide.  

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Hadley relies on contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations to fund its programs.

Donors will be prominently credited for their participation including signage at the event, event website, auction bidding platform, and  program booklet. We will also be giving guests giftbags at the end of the evening, making for an excellent opportunity to sample products.
