HALLELUJAH NIGHT
Other Event Type for YES YOU CANOct 20, 2023 6:00 PM
Dear Friend,
The Youth of New Jerusalem will be celebrating their 2nd Annual Harvest Event on Friday, October 20, 2023. Instead of Halloween, we celebrate the Harvest and call it Hallelujah Night with a variety of family-oriented activities. During Hallelujah Night, the youth of New Jerusalem Church, and the community, will have the opportunity to ‘Trick or Treat’, play games, win prizes, eat, learn about the Harvest, and most of all have FUN!
In the years past, we’ve wanted to host event for our youth and the community in the fellowship hall the held at least 80-100 people. But due to the pandemic we could not. This year we are expecting to have at least 150-175 people. In years to come, we hope to have the Harvest event become even more exciting by having a carnival with hayrides, inflatables for the children to jump in and other fun-filled games for children and adults to enjoy with expectations of 500 or more attendees. Again, this year, there will be a silent auction for the adults. The youth of New Jerusalem Church, will use the funds raised from the silent auction to supply food baskets, toiletries, and ‘Blessing’ bags to families in need during this Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season.
We believe this event enhances the quality of life for the children who attend by making this community a better, more interesting and safe place to live. In addition, it provides an outreach opportunity to teach the children to help others by the food baskets and bags they prepare and present to others in need.
In celebration of our Harvest Season this year, will you please support us with a gift? Donations can be made as follows: monetary contributions for catalog ads (checks made payable to New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church), merchandise, and gift certificates/cards for services and/or products. Any donation is greatly appreciated. By donating to New Jerusalem, your business will receive free advertising and exposure to all of the individuals who attend and special recognition on ourFacebook page. Remember, your gift is tax-deductible because we a 501(c)3 organization! A flyer of this event is included for your convenience. If you need any additional information or have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at 402-319-3354. Thank you for your time and support.
