Shannon Paulsen Suite Dreams is a non-profit organization based in Hibbing, Minnesota, working to raise funds and book suites at various events so families with a terminally-ill family member can enjoy a night at the ball park, stadium, or event center. It'll allow for memories to be made and precious family time to be enjoyed. We hope to send families to Target Field, US Bank Stadium, Xcel Energy Center, and Target Center to enjoy games and events.

WHY?

Shannon enjoyed going to concerts, sporting events, etc., and these trips became difficult after the cancer spread and treatments started. Standing in the crowd, waiting in line, getting to assigned seats, and everything else that comes with going to an event became impossible.

However, thanks to the generosity of a friend, our family was invited to attend a game in a suite. No long lines for the restroom or getting something to eat, no crowds pushing you as you try to find your seat, no more issues with navigating a wheelchair/walker or making sure the cane didn’t cause problems in the crowd, and all the other issues that made it difficult to enjoy the event.

The suite experience allowed Shannon and our family to make memories and continue to experience some of the things she enjoyed until the end, and we want other families that are dealing with terminally ill situations to have the opportunity to enjoy these kinds of events and continue to make lasting memories.

We are looking for a donation to be used in our raffles or our silent auction for our next fundraiser on October 14th 2023. It will be our annual Halloween fundraiser bash. The proceeds will go towards our suite rentals and help serve the terminally ill and their families.
