We are collecting items to host an online auction to raise funds for our school. The event will take place in January. Each year, we host an annual Art Gala where our students display their works of art for families and community members to view. The event typically had over 1,000 guests in attendance. This year, we are switching our model to an online forum in hopes of still reaching those families despite guidance for coronavirus social distance requirements. We hope to reach even more individuals with our online auction. We implore you to join us in supporting Hammond Eastside Magnet School.

About the Event: Hammond Eastside Magnet School is preparing for its annual Art Gala. The art gala will feature works of art from students of all ages as well as live performances by the Hammond Eastside Company and a silent auction. Funds from the silent auction are used to support academic endeavors in the classrooms of Hammond Eastside. Art Gala will be on Thursday, January 30, 2021. We can only meet our goals with the assistance of community members like yourself. Today, with just a small donation, you can help us improve our school, enhance our classrooms and invest in our children. We will gladly accept any items that you could donate to include in the silent auction. Past examples of items included were gift cards for services, tickets to events or activities, various products, art, woodwork, etc.

About our School: Hammond Eastside is an International Baccalaureate World School Primary Year Programme and Middle Years Programme. The positive results of the PYP and MYP will become evident in our Hammond community as classes of PYP and MYP students graduate and undertake activities that enhance social, cultural and economic environments locally, nationally and perhaps internationally. Hammond Eastside serves students ages Pre-K through 8th grade from a diverse community. Hammond Eastside is a Title I school with a 90% of our students receiving free lunch. 

Request: We are requesting donations for this event to assist in funding programs that make Hammond Eastside a great place to attend school and work.
