I am reaching out today as a General Board member for the Hanger Foundation. Our mission is to empower people living with physical challenges, including limb loss, to live life as fully as possible. We are preparing for our annual auction event in October 2022. There will be over 5,000 employees/participants that will be bidding on items benefiting our Empowerment Grants program.

The Hanger Foundation has donated more than $1.6 million to 80 grassroots non-profit organizations around the U.S. that empower the amputee community and others living with physical challenges. Each year, we receive more than 100 grant applications and we want to do more! Our goal for 2022 is to raise $20,000 from our auction which will fund more children going to camp, youth and adults experiencing sports, ramps for individuals to regain independent access to their homes, stroke survivors learning to communicate, and more.

Our work is only made possibly because of the generosity of individuals like you. Please consider supporting our event by donating gift certificates, merchandise, or services. This item will be used to generate resources to fund more empowering grants in 2022 and beyond. Auction items will be collected through September 19th. Auction donors will be recognized within the HangerLIVE conference app and on the Hanger Inc. intranet, OneHanger.
