On Friday, September 29th, we are hosting our 7th annual Harvesting Hope, an evening in support of Big
Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron, at The Barn Restaurant and Pub in Centralia. Harvesting Hope will
feature a cocktail hour, harvest style buffet dinner, live musical entertainment, in-person Mentoring auction
and an on-line auction (running from September 24th to October 1st).

The goal of Harvesting Hope is to increase community awareness about the valuable Mentoring programs we
provide to our community, to connect with new volunteers and to raise some much-needed funds to support
our Agency. Although we are part of a National organization, our Agency receives no base funding from our
National office and minimal program specific government funding. Our Agency relies primarily on funds
raised through grants, sponsorship, individual donations, The Little Shop (our children’s consignment store)
and fundraisers such as Harvesting Hope.

We are reaching out to you, asking for your support through either
1) a donation towards our on-line auction or
2) financial support towards the event
