Description

The YMCA Duck Race is a fun race that has 5 community leaders ride inflatable ducks down a portion of the Vermillion River in Hastings. The community members buy tickets and choose who they think will win. We then draw 10 names out of the winner's bucket for our large raffle prizes. It is thought of as the ending of RiverTown Days, our City days.

We are hoping to get a couple more donations for the day of events. There will be 2 little pools filled with small rubber ducks and they will be numbered. You pick a duck for $2 or $5, and claim the number associated with that duck. We have more of an adult prize pool and a kid prize pool. We will also have 2 other games going on that will be determined as we get closer to the event.

All of the money raised for the event will be put towards Youth Programing for our Hastings YMCA. This includes swim lessons, sports classes, and youth memberships!

Help us keep the Hastings YMCA the place where all are welcome!
