I am writing to request your support for Soroptimist International Clubs of Poway and North San Diego, non-profit organizations that are committed to improving the lives of women and children through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.

Our Soroptimist clubs will be presenting our 14th annual Hats and Heels fundraiser on April 21st at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort. We anticipate approximately 350 attendees at our luncheon with silent and live auctions. This event supports our programs such as Soroptimist Together Against Sex Trafficking (STAT) and a transitional housing program for domestic violence survivors. Our signature program, transitional housing, provides twelve months of post-shelter housing, mentorship, and financial help. Since 1997 we have helped 86 moms and 206 children through this program.

We would greatly appreciate any in-kind donation (including sporting events, restaurants, gifts cards and amusement parks) to raise the needed funds for our programs. Your contribution would be extremely valuable to our helping families move from abuse to a safe, self-sustaining life and increasing education regarding trafficking. In return, we would be happy to provide a shoutout on social media and a tax receipt for your generous donation.
