On Friday, April 24, 2020, Heritage Elementary School in Highland Village will hold its annual spring carnival and auction, Hawkfest. This is our most highly anticipated event. Not only it is our school’s premier fundraiser, but it is also a fun, family night for the entire community.

Held on the grounds of Pediatric Dental World, Hawkfest has grown into a wonderful community event. We expect over 2,000 people to attend this year! Patrons will enjoy an evening of carnival rides, games, raffles, vendor booths, concessions, a silent auction, and a Lip Sync Battle (back by popular demand.”

Proceeds from Hawkfest 2020 will help the Heritage PTA provide equipment and supplies for our school as well as enrichment programs for our students. Additionally, we will be able to provide teacher grants and fund scholarships through the Lewisville ISD Education Foundation (LEF). In 2018, Heritage lost two wonderful women who were so important to our school. Caren Placke, a long-time, dedicated teacher,and Penny Gooding, a former LISD educator turned tireless PTA volunteer. Both women have LEF scholarships in their name, and we would like to support those with a portion of the funds raised.

We are partnering with area businesses to ensure Hawkfest continues to be a great success. Please consider donating a gift certificate, an item or a service for our silent auction. We will recognize your contribution in the “donated by” section of our auction site. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations of items/services are tax deductible (TX Tax ID # 75-2488805).
