Every year, the Parent Teacher Organization of Montclair Elementary School in the Beaverton School District holds a fundraising auction, Hawktion, which is our single biggest fundraiser of the year. The event is normally held in person but community safety has led us to skip 2021 entirely and pivot to a virtual format for Saturday, April 2, 2022. Auction proceeds fund programs, classroom materials, supplies, and activities that our students would not otherwise have access to, funding essentials like technology, music, and PE, as well as enriching extras like a makerspace and Art Literacy. Community and parent involvement has been essential to bridge this funding gap.
