Description

The global annual “Healed Ones” 5K fundraising event is a run/walk/cycle marathon held at Lake Balboa Park on Saturday, May 20th, 2023. The event furthers the cause to build the very first Healed Ones Home, a center for vulnerable Ugandan children diagnosed with various forms of cancer who have no way of getting treatment and care. The vision of Los Angeles based organization, Reach Up Reach Out (RURO), is also embraced in participating Ugandan villages as they run/walk their 5K in tandem with LA locals and other 5K participators streaming on FB Live.
