Through the Heart is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (tax ID #46-2933481) based in the Annapolis, MD area that offers pregnancy loss support programs locally and nationally. Since November 2013, we have provided more than 3,500 Comfort Kits free of charge to individuals, couples, and families who recently suffered a loss and that number continues to grow every day.

I am writing today to ask if you will consider donating an item to our 10th annual Heartoberfest event as part of Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. Our theme this year is Cowboy Corral and the event, which will be held Oct. 12-15, 2023, will be highlighted by our annual online auction and a Texas Tailgate party. We are raising funds to support & expand existing pregnancy loss programs, including Comfort Kits, educational materials, and online resources. 

1 in 4 pregnancies ends in a loss yet many parents suffer in silence with little or no resources. Every year we help thousands of parents who are going through one of the worst moments of their lives but we can’t do it alone. In 2022, more than 110 businesses and individuals donated items and helped us raise a Heartoberfest-record $7,715 - we hope we can count on you to join them this year!
