Description

Event: Hearts for Hope -  in person fundraising event and virtual auction

We provide brain tumor patients (specifically glioblastoma - the deadliest of all brain cancers) across the United States with financial aid to help with the high cost of treatment, care, and recovery. Since the founding of Kim’s Hope in memory of Kim Veenhuis; in June 2022, we have issued grants directly to more than 100 patients and their families totaling over $350,000.  However there are so many more patients and families to help. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our community to support our work. We are currently planning a fundraising event that will include both virtual and in-person auction items to raise funds for glioblastoma brain tumor patients. 100% of the proceeds from this event will be distributed directly to patients and families facing the challenges of their diagnosis. The virtual event will begin on June 12 and conclude with our Hearts for Hope fundraising event on June 20. We are seeking donations of items for the auction as well as sponsorships for the event from community businesses to help us continue moving forward in our mission and
maximize the impact of this event.

There is much more information available on our website (www.kimshope.org) if you are interested in learning more about our organization and our history.
