The Children's Bereavement Center of South Texas has served as a valuable resource to our
community since 1997 with the purpose of providing free support and counseling to grieving
youth and their families. Right now, our community is experiencing tremendous loss – the
number of children experiencing a parent dying of COVID-19 is staggering, and the burden will
grow heavier as the death toll continues to mount. The Center’s services are needed more than ever before. Without you, we would not be here, mending hearts and restoring hope for the children of our community.

The Friends of the CBCST would be honored to have your support this year at our upcoming
"Annual Hearts in Harmony Gala" held on February 17, 2022 at the Mays Family Center. A
donation to our silent auction, either by way of a gifted product/service or underwriting utilized
to purchase unique packages, will help our mission to foster healing for children who are coping
with the death of loved one.

Donations to the Gala will be recognized via social media, at the event in the auction and in the
600+ programs. The name of your business will also be included in our newsletter which reaches
over 1,500 recipients. And as a non-profit 501(c3) organization, all donations are tax-deductible to
the limit established by the IRS. Not only will your generosity afford that an invaluable need be
met in our community, but it will ensure a positive reflection on your business.
