Description

March 2024

Dear Neighbouring Community Partner,

We are excited to announce that we are in the midst of planning our annual Community Day at Heather Heights Junior Public School. This event will help bring the community together to enjoy a family fun filled day on Thursday, June 6th, 3:30 – 6:30 p.m., at our school. All fundraising efforts will support student learning.

The staff, parents, and students of our school are working hard to make this event a success, but we need your help.

We are asking our community partners, neighbouring businesses, friends and family members to help with our event by making a donation (i.e. gift card, cash donation, electronics, sports/entertainment tickets, etc.). We will also include the name of your company on our fun passes for the day to recognize your support to our school. With the help of your donation, we will be able to fund this event and host a raffle draw to further raise money to meet our Community Day goal of $2,000.

A taxable receipt will be issued, at your request, for cash donations of $50.00 or greater. To receive a receipt, a cheque must be issued and must be made payable to the Toronto District School Board.

Thank you in advance for supporting our fundraising efforts and helping us make a positive difference to the lives of children in our community.

Sincerely,

Lizz Landry
