This year, Catholic Charities, Inc. celebrates 30 years of service to its affiliates and agencies, as well as the parishes and people of the Diocese of Erie. Reflecting on this milestone anniversary and the many challenges faced this past year, the board of directors chose to make a few changes to its signature fundraising event. First, to focus on the hallmark of the event, the Helping Hands Award, the board of directors has chosen to rename the event The Helping Hands Gala.  Second, we’ve moved the date of the event from spring to fall—October 9, 2021, hoping that the restrictions placed by Covid-19 may be lessened. Although the event will be hosted in-person for a small number of people, we’re excited to announce that it will also be live-streamed so everyone can easily join in the festivities by attending the event via live stream.
