At Catholic Charities we provide life-changing social, pastoral, and emergency services throughout the 13-county Diocese of Erie.  One way we fund these services is by bringing the Helping Hands Gala to supporters and community members like you.  This year’s Gala will take place on Thursday, October 10, in the Yehl Ballroom at Gannon University.

Sponsorships have been critical in funding up to $100,000 in grants each year to our agencies that meet many basic human needs.  For some of our recipients this includes food offered at pantries or a warm coat.  For others it is access to counseling or budgeting classes. Our Catholic Charities network of agencies relies heavily on this revenue source to continue helping the poor and marginalized in our communities.

Equally importantly, our Gala provides us the opportunity to honor members of our community who are making a difference. We hope you’ll join us this year as we honor:

• Dale DeMarco as our Helping Hands of Service Honoree
