Dear Six Flags,

Please accept this donation request on behalf of Hembree Springs Elementary School and the Hembree Springs PTA (501C3, tax id #58-2616970).  We appreciate your consideration and would love for you to be partner with us again this year. We would be thrilled if you were able to offer complimentary tickets for our fundraiser auction on March 15th, 2024. This auction will take place during our PTA Family Dance. We are anticipating around 400 attendees.

The proceeds from the auction are used to fund curriculum enrichment as well as community connection and support. Your donation would be included in and promoted in a variety of ways. Your support means that we can continue to offer a series of activities for our students, teachers, and families at no charge. Enrichment activities are used to promote, reinforce, and extend the curriculum for our diverse student population.  Programs include:

• STAR & STEM Nights which give students and family members a chance to make science come to life through hands-on, safe and curriculum appropriate science experiments. 

• Book Clubs which foster reading for enjoyment and opportunities for critical thinking and discussion

• Giving Closet which provides our at-risk students with basic essentials, clothing, non-perishable food items and school supplies as needed.
• Reflections Program which encourages creative expression through visual arts, writing, photography, dance, and music.
• Community programs inclusive of a Fall Festival, Spring Wellness Festival, The Healthy Minds Programs, Grocery Store Math Nights and more!     
• Technology Support items which promote digital learning for our in-person and virtual settings
• Teacher Appreciation provides teachers with grant opportunities for their classroom, school supplies and more.
• Parent Workshops to include ESOL outreach, literacy and technology workshops.
