The Trauma Intervention Program of Northern Nevada (TIP) is a non-profit located in the Reno, NV area. We respond with police, fire, and/or EMS to scenes of traumatic events to provide emotional and practical support to survivors of those events. We could be called from anything as prominent as the Reno Air Race crash to a parent who just lost his/her teenager to suicide. We provide these services to anyone in our area free of charge.

On February 8, 2024, we are hosting our annual fundraiser. At our fundraiser, we honor local first responders (police, fire, EMS, social workers, medical examiners, etc.) who go above and beyond the call of duty. TIP volunteers and first responders are with members of the community on the worst days of their lives and it is our honor to recognize the first responders who go the extra mile when no one is watching, without any kick-back or recognition but just because they have the heart.
