Trauma Intervention Programs of Northern Nevada (TIP), a non-profit volunteer organization, is
seeking the support of citizens and businesses for our 13th annual Heroes With Heart awards
dinner, where we will honor local first responders on February 13, 2025.
Generous donors like you are the key to our success and make it possible for TIP to provide
individuals and families the emotional support, assistance, and resources they need during the
first hours following a traumatic event. Trained TIP volunteers respond immediately to crisis
situations 24-hours/day, 365 days/year to provide this free service. In the past year alone, TIP
volunteers donated over 28,650 hours and assisted more than 3,530 client survivors and 2,650
emergency first responders in Washoe County.
We are submitting this letter to request an in-kind donation to include in our raffle, restaurant
gift card booth, and/or our wine booth. We hope you will consider donating an item or gift card
for use at this annual fundraising event. Restaurant gift cards and bottles of wine should be
valued at a minimum retail value of $25 to ensure they can be used for the intended fundraising
purposes at this event.
