MHLC’s Hike-a-thon & Scavenger Hunt is held annually during the month of July and is our most popular event of the year! This year’s family friendly scavenger hunt will feature hand-painted wooden cutouts of frogs and turtles hidden at each of MHLC’s 22 nature preserves. This self-guided activity attracts explorers of all ages and encourages families to get outside and connect with nature. More than 300 individuals participated in the Hike-a-thon & Scavenger Hunt in 2023 and event attendance continues to grow each year!
