ALFA’s annual Hike for Hope +5k benefits ALFA's mission to improve the lives and health of those affected by HIV/AIDS while preventing transmission through education and testing. All funds raised during this event stay in Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Lincoln, Watauga and Wilkes Counties.
Hike for Hope is held in beautiful downtown Hickory, "Under the Sails." H4H is high energy event that includes a timed 5k, a 1 mile fun walk, costumes, dancing demos, health screenings, music, children's activities and more.
