Description

Hog Wild for the Y is an annual fundraiser for the Grand Island (Nebraska) YMCA. This supports our annual campaign to raise money for scholarships for those who would benefit from the Y, but can’t afford a membership.

This event will be held Saturday, March 23, 5 to 9 pm at the Tom Dinsdale BARN BAR on the Fonner Park Complex. The evening will include great food, music, raffles, as well as silent and live auctions.

Our 2024 goal is to provide over $130,000 in scholarships to individuals and families. We offer scholarships of 25%, 45%, and 65%. We also support our local Big Brother Big Sisters kids with free memberships and discounts for military veterans, first responders, and clergy. Our corporate discount to local businesses allows more members of our community to take advantage of all the ways the Y can help with youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Vendors who donate items for the silent auction will have their name listed on social media, the Y website, and on the online auction app, ClickBid. The vendor name/logo and the item will be visible to bidders in the area where auction items are displayed the evening of the event.
