Description

“Hole-in-One for Inclusion” A United Rocks fundraising event

Join us for an evening of golf, raffles, fun, and community! All guests will have the opportunity to learn about the organization and the benefits of rock climbing.

Your presence at the event will help us take one step closer to achieving our fundraising goal and making a tangible change in the lives of those we serve. By supporting this event, you contribute directly to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, our coaches and volunteers, and enable us to continue our vital work.

Please consider sponsoring our Topgolf event to support United Rocks, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to promote physical, mental, and social skills through the sport of rock climbing for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

ABOUT UNITED ROCKS

In less than two years, our vision to make rock climbing accessible to individuals with IDD has blossomed into a vibrant reality. With teams meeting three to four times a month in three locations, lives are being changed. Beginning with just five climbers in November of 2021, United Rocks impacts over 350+ individuals including our climbers, their families, our coaches and volunteers who work closely with them and th egym staff. Our climbers demonstrate courage, perseverance, and joy at every practice.

Although we group and practice in “teams,” rock climbing is an individual sport, and each child progresses at his/her own pace. The parents and coaches together set goals for the child, and their goals are tracked with each practice.

Our record of climbers, coaches, and volunteers showing up week after week has established a solid foundation for us to build on. We are actively expanding into new cities and states in 2024. Our goal is for United Rocks to expand across the U.S. so that other individuals with IDD may enjoy all the benefits that rock climbing has to offer and even compete nationally.
