The 14th Annual Holiday Express Sunset Benefit Clambake on Sunday, September 18th, 2022, will be take place on the beach at McLoone’s Pier House in Long Branch, New Jersey. Proceeds from the Clambake will improve the quality of life for the 27,000 adults and children served by Holiday Express during the 2022 holiday season. Holiday Express serves the mentally and physically disabled, the isolated, individuals in addiction and recovery programs, the poor and the homeless and children with serious illnesses. The Holiday Express mission is to deliver music, food, gifts, financial support, and friendship to those with the greatest need for the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year. At Holiday Express we believe no one should be alone during the holidays. 

The Sunset Benefit Clambake is a signature event for Holiday Express that is considered one of the best annual fundraising events in our region. This oceanside gala with a casual vibe draws over four hundred guests, who enjoy a spectacular, festive evening to bring the summer season to a joyful close. The party on the beach is held under a grand tent directly on the beach in Long Branch. The event features sumptuous cuisine provided by McLoone’s Pier House, extraordinary beverages, a fabulous silent auction, and incomparable entertainment by the Holiday Express Band led by our founder, Tim McLoone. The annual clambake is one of just a handful of public events held each year to help raise funds for Holiday Express and its mission of serving tens of thousands of the neediest and most forgotten among us.
