Each fall, Heritage K-8 Charter School holds an Open House and Gift Fair. This year’s event is scheduled in
November. We look forward to this annual event because it provides us with the opportunity to showcase our school
and reach out to the Escondido community. We invite parents, families and community members to enjoy a fun
evening on our campus that includes food, holiday gift fair, silent auction, holiday concert, and time spent with
teachers in their classrooms.
The silent auction held during this event is one of the major fundraisers for the school year. The money we
raise all goes back to the students and allows us to provide experiential learning opportunities, including
field trips, to help our students better. If we are lucky, we will have enough donated items to make additional funthemed baskets to auction as well.
In the past, our auctions have been one of the most effective fundraising tools thanks to the generosity of companies
and organization like yours. Therefore, we would like to request a donation from your organization for this purpose.
Heritage K-8 Charter School is public elementary school, located on East Valley Parkway in Escondido, California.
Established in 2003, our mission is to develop the hearts and minds of our students through a rigorous core
curriculum, with a perspective that cherishes timeless virtues and the American Spirit. Our elementary school serves
over 650 students. Heritage Elementary prides itself on having a strong, standards-based academic program that
emphasizes the foundations of learning through reading, writing, mathematics, history, geography and science. In
addition, art, music, physical education and technology are integrated into the curriculum.
