On behalf of the Contra Costa County Department of Agriculture, we wish to inform our community businesses that the department will be holding our annual silent auction/raffle event on December 15, 2021. We know this is a time of life challenges for so many. However, we feel that this event is for a great cause, to feed our neighbors in need.  We will be adhering to all state and county social distancing guidelines and sanitary practices.  At this event, we will have current employees, retirees and other county department employees who wish to attend in-person or virtually.  We auction/raffle gift cards, gift baskets, merchandise and services generally donated by businesses like yours.  All of the event proceeds will go to the Food Bank of Contra Costa/Solano Counties. Last year we were able to donate over $3,000 to assist with the fight to end hunger in our communities. 

We would greatly appreciate any donation you can make and can arrange for contactless pickup if needed.  Should you make a donation for this event, your business will be recognized on the item displays at the event as well as in our letter to the Food Bank.  We will also provide a donation receipt letter with the Federal Tax ID number for your records.
