This year we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of education at Sacred Heart School in Monticello, Iowa. This is an amazing milestone and we could not have reached it without the community’s support.  We welcome all the many loyal supporters, former students and staff of Sacred Heart School to our annual holiday gala on November 19, 2022. We also have the following special events for alumni.

Friday, Nov. 18th, 2022 7pm: informal meet & greet with snacks @ Monticello Golf Club 528 N Maple St.

Saturday, Nov. 19th 3pm-3:45pm: open house @ Sacred Heart School 234 N Sycamore St.

4pm: Mass by Archbishop Jakels at Sacred Heart Church 302 N Sycamore St.

Sacred Heart School Gala @ Monticello Berndes Center 766 N Maple St.

Happy Hour 5:30-6:30pm with dinner served at 7pm.

Live auction following dinner

We will have a DJ following the live auction. Stay and enjoy music and fellowship.

Many hours of planning and hard work have gone into this event, which plays a major role in the financial operations of Sacred Heart School.  Income generated is crucial to carrying out our school’s mission.  This lively and fun event is an opportunity for families and friends of Sacred Heart School to celebrate the presence, vitality and tradition of Catholic education in our community.

The gala begins with a social hour when guests can enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres while browsing the silent and live auction items. The unique and useful items provide a holiday shopping extravaganza!  The seated, catered dinner offers a choice of Prime Rib or Chicken Monterey along with parsley red potatoes, green beans almandine, fall tossed salad, fresh dinner roll, dinner wine, assorted beverages and desserts.  The caterer will accommodate food allergies.

We also welcome and will recognize donations from prior alumni classes during the event.  Silent auction items are appreciated as well.  If you have an item or service to donate, please contact the school office @ 319-465-4605. All donors will be recognized on an event poster, auction booklet, church bulletin, weekly school newsletters, social media and local newspapers.

Sponsorship Levels:

Platinum - $2,000, includes 8 complimentary tickets and platinum level recognition

Gold - $1,500, includes 6 complimentary tickets and gold level recognition

Silver - $1,000, includes 4 complimentary tickets and silver level recognition

Bronze - $500, includes 2 complimentary tickets and bronze level recognition

Booster Club members will be selling dinner tickets before and after the Masses at Sacred Heart one month before the Gala.  If you purchase a dinner ticket by November 1, your name will be placed in a drawing for $100 in auction bucks.
