My name is Lisa Wenz and I am a volunteer at The John Theissen Foundation. He will be hosting a Holiday Gala on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Mulcahy's Concert Hall in Wantagh.  All proceeds will go towards helping this wonderful charity bring smiles to sick and underprivileged children throughout the year. John Theissen does many events to help brighten the lives of children who are going through unimaginable hardships. He runs toy and school supply drives, multiple fundraisers throughout the year for children with a variety of needs. Another one of the services he provides is having birthday parties, which include pizza, cake, arts and crafts, video games, goody bags and gifts for the birthday child. The only payment that this foundation asks for is to hear the laughter of a child who does not have much in their lives to be excited about.
